Android has quite a number of issues with https. As other people reported,
your certificate must be installed on the device for https to work. If not, you
would need to modifiy the client code to work with untrusted certificates. I
think this is possible, but it is not a feature in our roadmap.
Post by Adam WilliamsPost by Marco Garattiit is enabled provided you have Android 2.2. If this is the case then we
can investigate what the problem is and why you can't see it. Otherwise
it is expected for the source to be hidden.
I have Android 2.2.1 Verizon, this is a Droid 1.
I have installed the app snapshot from Dec. 23rd.
This first issue I'm having is that the client seems unable to connect.
I am connecting to an https:// URL using a Network Solutions supplied
certificate. URL is in the form of https://{HOSTNAME}:8443/funambol.ds
I can synchronize to this URL from a PC using the Outlook client but the
Droid fails after some time of "Checking credentials" with a "Network
Error".
