[Funambol Discuss] [Funambol-dev] Funambol Mozilla Sync Client for Thunderbird 3.0

Hi all,

I'm pleased to announce that a new version (v1.0b1) of the Funambol
Mozilla Sync Client, compatible with Thunderbird 3.0 and
Sunbird/Lightning 1.0, is available for download:

https://mozilla-plugin.forge.funambol.org/

This is just a beta version for Windows platforms only. Some work is
still needed to support the other platforms, and allow us to publish
it on the official Thunderbird add-ons website. In the meantime any
beta tester are welcome to install it and give it a try ;)

One thing which is very important to do now is to verify if the bugs
listed below are still valid with the new client version:

Let me know if you are available for testing or help on porting on

I can test on linux Fedora and MacOS!

I can also give some help in developing on linux if it is mainly about
compiling.

thank you for your fast reacting ;)

I will consider you as soon as we'll upload the posix builds.

@Stefano: on Linux and Mac OS we need first of all the Mozilla SDK
compiled for both the platforms, once we have them we can try to
compile the client and fix eventual compatibility issues.

This beta version messes up the menus. File and Edit were completely blank, some others contained blank entries.

I've uninstalled Funambol and everything went back to normal.
